Ahead of 2020, DW asked a whole host of individuals working in the tech space for their thoughts and observations on the business trends and technology developments likely to be major features of the year ahead. No one gave us the kitchen sink, but otherwise it seems that we’ve uncovered a broad spectrum of valuable, expert opinion to help end users plan their digital transformations over the next 12 months or so. The first series of predictions articles appeared in the November issue of Digitalisation World, continued in the December issue, and now we have a stack more predictions for you as the New Year dawns. Part 1.
New year, new tech, same threats, says Dr. Guy Bunker:

Hackers continue to use age-old techniques on new vulnerabilities. Organisations who fail to adequately protect their data continue to suffer the ramifications of large fines. As we move into a new decade, there is no room for complacency.
