Leaders from the CIA, FBI, Google, Verizon Global Investigations, and Clearswift will be among the industry’s most prominent cyber security experts converging on the 2015 ISSA International Conference in Chicago October 11-13 to help “Advance the Culture of Security.”
These global leaders will gather to discuss critical cyber security topics ranging from how organizations and governments must secure the Internet or Things (IoT) to the benefits of federated digital identity services to mobile app security, as well as patient security and privacy in the healthcare industry, cyber security due diligence, legal requirements and liability insurance.
This year, we’re particularly excited about a topic that is often a significant area of risk for cyber security leaders and if not addressed can not only expose critical systems and information, but limit the agility and productivity of an organization. Our own Senior Vice President of products, Dr. Guy Bunker, will be featured as a speaker at the conference and address a global audience on how to enable a secure work environment in the cloud. His breakout session, titled “Security or Convenience? Enabling a Collaborative Work Environment” will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 1:45 p.m. During this session, Dr. Bunker will explore the full scope of vulnerabilities presented by email and collaboration tools, as well as new information borne threats, critical information hidden in metadata and document revision history, and Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) within active content. He will provide the tips and information attendees need to enable collaboration without compromising the security of their organization or employees.
Now that the cyber security game has changed, you can change yours with a chance to win an Apple Sport Watch by visiting the Clearswift booth or break-out session.
We hope to see you at the conference October 12-13 at the Chicago Marriot Downtown! Be sure to Tweet us during the show @Clearswift and mention the conference hashtag (#ISSAConf).
