MINNEAPOLIS May 8, 2020 — Fortra announced today a new way of supporting remote employees during a time of global crisis. For a limited time, Fortra is offering a free 90-day license of the collaboration modules within the GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) application. GoAnywhere MFT is an enterprise-level solution for sharing files inside or outside organizations. This free remote collaboration lets users send files securely via email, drop files into shared folders, manage files within the network, and more. In addition, GoAnywhere Gateway is included in the offering. Gateway is a reverse proxy which means access to the servers is made without having to open up any inbound ports – making it the most secure method for allowing web users to access the file servers and not having to compromise network security.
