  - Replicate existing policy and configuration on new platform
  - Review and enhance security policy
  - Optimize deployment to match changes in traffic volume or business need
What is Involved?
Clearswift-trained consultants use a proven, documented, methodology to deliver a migration service that includes:

Discovery:
  - Review, assess, understand current architecture
  - Detail and confirm go-live procedure
  - Confirm roll-back procedure
  - Review and reassess client requirements, business practices, acceptance tests

Migration and testing:
  - Install and configure Clearswift appliance
  - Install and confirm replication to additional Clearswift Appliance(s)
  - Implement and transition of existing policy to Clearswift appliance deployment
  - Pre-go-live testing

Go-Live:
  - Assist with customer acceptance tests including confidence, policy and performance testing
  - Troubleshoot and explain behaviour
  - Update policy as necessary

New feature rollout:
  - Install and configure Clearswift appliance new features
  - Go-live
  - Troubleshoot and explain behaviour

Documentation and handover:
  - Policy and system configuration document
  - Familiarize IT staff with new features.
Typical Duration
A migration will typically take 4 days, with a further 1 day for system documentation and familiarization.
