DeepSecure Installation Course

Course Duration 5 days

Course Outline
Delegates will learn how to specify and configure the hardware for Trusted Solaris installation. Delegates will also learn how to install and configure Directory Bastion and full Bastion/DeepSecure components.

The modular nature of the course will allow delegates to acquire the sub-set of skills needed for their particular installation.

• Module 1
  Product Architecture covers the architecture of a Bastion and DeepSecure installation.
• Module 2
  Accreditation Issues covers the issues involved in creating and maintaining an installation that complies with accreditation requirements.
• Module 3
  Installing Bastion covers the process of installing, configuring and testing the Bastion software.
• Module 4
  Installing DeepSecure covers the process of installing the DeepSecure software.
• Module 5
  Configuring DeepSecure covers the process of configuring and testing the DeepSecure software.
  
  
  

• Module 6
  Configuring Policy covers the process of installing ClearPoint and using it to create an initial policy.
• Module 7
  Installing X.400 Proxies for DeepSecure 2.0 covers the process of setting up an X.400 installation with DeepSecure 2.0.
• Module 8
  Installing DeepSecure 2.1 covers the process of installing DeepSecure 2.1 and using it with ClearPoint 2.1.
• Module 9
  Configuring Directory Server Updates covers how to store security policy and virus updates on a directory server, for example for controlling multiple Bastions.
• Module 10
  Testing and Troubleshooting covers how to test the installation and resolve any problems that may arise.
