The Role

Working as part of the EMEA Technical Support team you will be involved in the support of all Clearswift products. You will be expected to be able to support our full product set via phone and e-mail to customers and partners across Europe and the Middle-East.

The role is strongly customer focused role so you will expected to be a customer advocate, fully understanding the impact of the problems they are experiencing and ensuring expectations are set and exceeded in providing resolutions to customer issues.

Reporting directly to the EMEA Technical Support Manager, you will be working with the Global Clearswift Support organisation on new incidents and problems through to resolution.

Working with Clearswift German customers and partners your ability to successfully communicate in German is an essential part of the role.

Key Responsibilities


  • Providing a high level of support to both channel partners and customers, communicating both on the phone and via e-mail.
    • Producing technical notes for customers and channel partners on technical aspects of Clearswift products within the Clearswift Knowledge Base.

    Skills Profile


    • 1st line technical support background, preferably with 1 or more year’s experience.
    • E-mail System knowledge
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Competent with Windows technology and associated architecture.
    • A good understanding of the fundamentals of IP networking, including SMTP, DNS
    • Familiar with electronic messaging concepts
    • Knowledge of IIS and SQL an advantage
    • Flexible working hours are required.

      The job is located at our offices in Reading, Berks.  Candidates must be UK Residents already and within travelling distance of Reading.
